I Quit Quitting I quit! When I was a kid, I carried a paper route for years. It was a good job...to quit! In high school I was a life guard. It was a good job...to quit! In college I worked on cars in a shop. It was a good job...to quit! After law school I spent a few decades working for oil companies. It was a good job...to quit! I retired, and now I just can't quit. I keep my licenses current and there is always something going on. My wife and I are building a retreat and something is always happening. The grandchildren always have another program or event or just something to talk about or do. I have never been busier in my life. So, no more quitting. Just enjoying life one day at a time. And all of those times that I quit in the past? Well, I have quit quitting.
